President
Abbie Sladick is a graduate of the Whittemore School of Business, University of New Hampshire. She has been a Naples resident for 20 years. When first coming to Florida, Abbie worked in high end residential design. In 2000 she became a licensed building contractor and developed a successful interior remodeling company. In 2006 and 2007, Abbie Joan Enterprises has been named one of the Top 500 Remodelers in the country by Qualified Remodeling Magazine and is the recipient of numerous national design competitions and awards.
Abbie was the second woman in the state of Florida to be awarded the designation of Certified Graduate Remodeler and one of the first 200 professionals in the U.S. to earn the Certified Aging in Place Specialist designation. She has served on the American Society of Interior Designers National Council on Aging and Place. She is also a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Associations Board of Advisors for the Building Sector. In the last 4 years, Abbie has been an advisor to a variety of national manufacturing companies on product development and market development.
In December of 2008, Abbie was one of five women chosen nationally to receive a Micro to Millions award, given
by Count Me In and sponsored by Amex – OPEN ( www.countmein.org ). This award package is given to female
entrepreneurs to help them achieve the Million Dollar Level of Growth. Abbie is married to Paul Sladick who now
runs Abbie Joan Enterprises. They have 2 children Jack- 11 and Hana- 14.
